i would just like to point out that we think we fully understand certain things, but we don't.

for example: DNA, atomic physics, our environment.

i plead with you all, give up this notion that we are masters of our universe, that we already understand things down to the last detail.

we are better served by respecting the truth: we have a lot to learn. we are a species in its infancy, and our lack of modesty poses a great threat to us and everything around us.
