2013-09-04 - 11:28 a.m. years ago, microsoft chose the profit-maximising path and scored big. it must be assumed that they did not do much research into the consequences of their choices (such as putting user desires at a lower priority than the bottom line). in my opinion, they are paying now for that arrogance. the human race is in the midst of chosing the profit-maximising path and scoring big. sure, we see a little regression (recession) in our exponential growth, but many people are getting very rich. let us do research into the consequences of our actions. let us put our eventual well-being into the list of priorities used to determine our choices today.
